One of our featured authors, Lucien Cerise, just posted a short reflection on Facebook, which might help anglophone dissidents realize that this protest isn’t a joke; that some of the most important French dissidents are working tirelessly to convince highly irascible French people to protest as pragmatically as possible. As we saw last week, Hervé Ryssen said that he’s willing to compromise with radical leftists to build a more effective movement. Today, Cerise is putting forward sound practical advice for the December 8 protest:
Here are the objectives for Act 4 of the Yellow Vest Revolution:
Occupy the Place de la Concorde for as long as possible to allow the yellow vests to take control of the following addresses, all within walking distance from Place de la Concorde:
– The Élysée Palace, 55 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
– Rothschild Bank, 47 and 56 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
– The Ministry of the Interior, place Beauvau.
– The National Assembly, on the other side of the bridge.
– Three embassies nearby: United States (2 avenue Gabriel); Great Britain (35 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré); and Israel (3 rue Rabelais).
In short, for this revolution to succeed, we must focus on Place de la Concorde, because everything is located there.
The government knows it full well and will do everything in its power to prevent a lasting occupation of the Place de la Concorde.
For the time being, we have not yet moved on to the real revolution: namely, regime change.
Now we have to go all in and execute Plan A ; or take it to the ballot box under Plan B (which we’ll have to do at some point anyway).
